Dare # 39

Welcome to Dare 39. I was on holiday taking a gazillion photos when I got an email from Lianne asking me what my dare was! I knew straight away what it would be - using 10 or more photos on a layout. It can be a single or double layout but requires 10 or more photos in total.

The prize ( a draw) will be a ShapeBoss from Fiskars. It is a super dooper system for dry embossing. Our favourite layout will get to be our guest designer for the dare after next.

The deadline for this dare is 6pm Wed 27th Feb. Leave us a link to your page in the comments or email your page to Lianne at RANDLGRAY@xtra.co.nz I cant wait to see what you come up with.

So I dare you.....

I have used 15 photos on mine. I love to use a mix of horizontal and vertical photos as well as different sizes. The quote is from the brochure and I thought it said it so well I used that!

Here is a wonderful layout from our guest designer Penny.

I noticed I had quite a few photos featuring yellow 'things' and being my favourite colour I printed them as mini 2x3 pics and went from there! Happy daring everybody!

Dare #38

Hi Darers! It's new dare time again and as it is so close to Valentine's I thought we would kill two birds with one stone and create a Valentine's card dare with a twist. So here we go...your mission, should you choose to accept it...is to create a Valentine's card. But this card must include a photo of some description. Now this photo can be one you have taken or a stock photo you have downloaded, but the photo must be included on yo
ur card. To get your mojo going here are some ideas from our creative team. inside of the
I have included a photo of my husband and I's hands clasped together. The card reads, "Your hand in mine".

Annelie Maddock, our guest designer, has created an adorable card, it is just so cute with the photo of the two little ones kissing...and looks at all the gorgeous detail she has added.

And here is Donna's creative contribution, I just love the pacific flavour that is added with the addition of the Kete photo - gorgeous!

So what are you waiting for? You can create a card and win a great prize and show some love to a special someone at the same time. The dare this fortnight is sponsored by NZ Scrapbook and so you will go in the draw to win a special prize from them. Not to mention that our favourite will win a chance to be a guest designer in an upcoming dare. So off you go...share the love and make a card.

Monique's Card

Ok mine is a little tease directed at hubby who insists Valentines is a waste of time cause 'I know you love me already, we don't need to give each stuff'....of all the sorry excuses rofl!! I had lots of fun making it cutesy just for him heh, heh, heh!!

Lianne's card

I did a search on Flickr for 'hearts' and found some great photos that would be perfect for Jo's dare. Here's one of them - how cute are the pair of heart shaped strawberries that I found here.

Better late than never right? Here is my card. Quick and simple.....

Sharon's card (even later!!) - all digital of course :)

Rach's card

and even better..........nothing like a last minute inspo + for those chocolate lovers out there!!

The deadline for this dare is 6pm Wed 13th Feb. Leave us a link to your card in the comments or email your card to Lianne at RANDLGRAY@xtra.co.nz
